GGv0.27 ~ the "bare minimum" update

howdy pardners… what a day!!

first: the update. this one’s got a fair amount of what i like to call “house cleanin’”:

a real pause menu…

the beloved “music on/off” and “clangin’ on/off” buttons are no more… instead we got regular old sliders. also for desktop enjoyers we’ve got a resolution picker and a fullscreen/windowed picker as well. standard stuff… but they were a long time comin’.

new card designs

nothin’ to be afraid of, pardner. the cards work just the same as before. wanted to make a little space on these bad boys… just in case.

new cover art!!

reckon that’s self-explanatory, but it’s pretty excitin’ fer me anyways.

retromation!!

Reto moseyed on over to The Gulch today, playin’ through regular mode and seemingly havin’ a good time. goes without saying, but I’m just about over the moon right now, pardner. give it a watch, and then like the video, leave a comment and subscribe if you aren’t already.

• replaced music and sound effects toggles with sliders in the main menu
• added screen mode and resolution options to desktop builds
• updated card design
• “toasts” indicating when a new job is added to the varmint ledger no longer appear blank occasionally

this is a red-letter day fer me. if you’ve been around since the beginning, you’re my boon companion and i salute you. i’m gonna give you all i’ve got and make this the very best game it can be. giddy-up pardners, the best is yet to come.
