v0.13 (2023-03-01) — heartbreaking accidental loss of 1k-word devlog edition

hello friends i typed up a log 1,000-word devlog (it was really good) and then i refreshed the page and it’s all gone so this one’s going to be bullet points. (yes i tried sniffing around the cache, it’s gone forever. alas!)

new classes

• (advanced versions of existing classes Gym Rat, Saguaro, and Medic)
• look for the yellow checkbox:

retries system

makes things a lot more fun IMO.

• some new and/or smoother animations
• naked turtles (you’ll see)
• lots of other things that i’d explain in more detail if i was not grinding my teeth and pounding my head against the wall

this is a great time to try the game again if you’ve been away for a while, lots of quality of life improvements, and the retries system makes it easier to experiment and build interesting team compositions. give it a shot!
